Bank holiday Monday and sat in the eurotunnel queue. Off to France for the last filming trip of this series. Looking forward to the 5 euros a pint bars! Quite a few night shoots this time so maybe won't be going out as much anyway...

Ok, cut to, shin deep mud, EZ up hammered, rain for 6 hours, gear covered in everything available, cold tea, soggy sandwiches, nothing works, tempers fray, get it? 30 degrees and sunny all week. Hmmm, almost certainly not Welsh weather. In fact it was Majorcan. No, sadly Merlin has not fled for foreign climes, we have just had a production break for a week. So now we are back in the studio for a week, then a few days on location around Glamorgan, followed by another trip to the French location for the castle scenes....
